Setting Up Outlook 2016 Using POP
  1. Open Outlook and select Manual setup or additional server types, then the Next button
  2. Select POP or IMAP, then click Next button
  3. Fill in the details as per below, then select More Settings
    • Your Name: Enter the name you want to display in the From field when the recipient receives your email
    • E-mail Address: Your full email address of the mailbox that you are currently settings up
    • Account type: POP
    • Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomain.com
    • Outgoing mail server: mail.yourdomain.com
    • Username: Enter your full email address
    • Password: Enter the password
  4. From the Outgoing Server tab, select My Outgoing server(SMTP) requires authentication and select Use same settings as my incoming mail server
  5. Select Advanced tab from the same popup window. Change the Outgoing server (SMTP) port to 587, then click OK to proceed
  6. Click the Next button
  7. Outlook will then attempt to test your account settings. Let the process complete until the Congratulations panel appears, then click the Close button
  8. Click Finish
