Setting Up Outlook 2010 Using POP
  1. Open Outlook and go to File then Info
  2. Click the Add account button
  3. Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next
  4. Select Internet E-mail and click Next
  5. Key in all the information, select POP3 as account type
  6. While on the User Information window, click on the More Settings ...
  7. Then click on the Outgoing Server tab.
  8. Place a check in the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication checkbox
  9. Leave the Use same settings as my incoming mail server option selected.
  10. Now click on the Advanced tab
  11. Specify the following ports for each server:
    • Incoming POP3 Port: 110
    • Outgoing SMTP Port: 587
  12. Click on OK. You will now be taken back to the Internet E-mail Settings window.
  13. Click Next to complete the setup.
