Setting Up Windows Live Mail Using POP
  1. Select the File menu and choose Options
  2. Click the Email Accounts

  3. Choose Next
  4. Account settings
    • In the Email Address box, enter your email address
    • In the Password box, enter your email address password
    • In the Display Name box, enter the name you want users to see when you send email from this account
  5. Choose Manually configure server settings
  6. Choose Next
  7. Server information for Incoming Server
    • Under Account Type, select POP3
    • In the Incoming server address box, enter mail.domain.com
    • Incoming server (POP): 110
    • Untick Requires a secure connection (SSL)
    • Authenticate using : Clear text
    • Logon user name box, enter your email address
  8. Server information for Outgoing Server
    • In the Outgoing server address box, enter mail.domain.com
    • Outgoing server (SMTP): 25 or 587
    • Untick Requires a secure connection (SSL)
    • Tick Requires authentication
  9. Choose Next.
  10. Click the Finish button.
