Add sender address to the Safe Senders List in Outlook

Receiving a legit email in Junk folder could be frustrated. In Outlook, you can avoid receiving legit email in Junk folder by adding the address or domain as Safe Senders list to confirm you'll always receive their messages in your inbox.

Email addresses and domain names in the Safe Senders List are never treated as junk email, regardless of the content of the message.

To add people to your Safe Senders List, do the following:

  1. On the Home tab, in the Delete group, click Junk, and then click Junk E-mail Options



  2. On the Safe Senders tab, click Add
  3. In the Enter an e-mail address or Internet domain name to be added to the list box, enter the address that you want to add, for example:

    - user@domainname.com
    - domainname.com



  4. Click OK and repeat for each entry that you added
