Add Autoresponder in Smartermail 17.x

Here are the guideline to add autoresponder for email account using Smartermail 17.x

  1. Login to user Smartermail account

  2. Go to Settings (Gear icon) then choose Autoresponder

  3. On Option section, toggle on the Autoresponder

    Notes: You can change the auto responder behaviour by enable or disable any options offer,

    Disable responses to indirect mail: prevent the autoresponder from responding to an email that is not directly addressed to you such CC email.
    Only send between cetain dates: all user to customize autoresponder when user is temporary unavailable for instance when user is on vacation etc.
    Send to: This dropdown allows user to who received the autoresponder messages
                   
    • Domain Users Only - This will only send an autoresponder to others on your domain. In this instance, you'll only need to fill out the "Response to Send to Domain Users" message.
    • Domain Users and Contacts Only - This will send an autoresponder JUST to others on your domain as well as anyone listed in "My Contacts". In this case, you'll want to fill out both messages.
    • Everyone - This will send an autoresponder to anyone who emails you. In this case, you'll want to fill out both messages.


  4. Create the autoresponder email depends on Send to options set

    Subject: Email subject or title of the auto reply email
    Response to Send to Domain Users: Email content for sender in the same domain.
    Response to Send to Everyone Else: Email content for all sender outside of your domain.

  5. Click Save to update changes
