Besides perform database backup by exporting it from phpMyAdmin interface, Plesk has a way to generate database from its control panel interface. Then, the backup database can be download or save in the File Manager.

1. Login to the Plesk control panel
   
   
2. Click Database on the left side panel
   
   
3. On Database page, locate the database for back up
   
   
4. In the Option section, click on Export Dump to start the exporting database file
   
   
5. Then, Export Dump pop-up window apprears, select a directory to save the dump of the back up files and rename the file
   
   Notes: There is option to toggle on for automatically download dump after creation
   
   
6. Go back to redirectory to verify the dump file saved
